January Jobs
Time.
What is time? Essentially, it is movement. It can be a period, i.e.: stage,
phase, an interval. It can be an occasion: hour, moment, an instance. It can be
an era: age, period, epoch, generation. It can also be a schedule: timetable,
program, plan, and organize. But in regard to creating your family museum, time is a count, i.e.: tally,
computation, reckon, regard, view, hold, deem, esteem, weigh, signify. In other
words, time to make your mark, be significant, make a difference and be
important. WOW!
In ancient Roman religion and myth, the month of January
is named after Janus, the god of
beginnings and transitions, and thereby of gates, doors, doorways, passages and
endings. He is usually depicted as having two faces, since he looks to the
future and to the past.
So as the
month of January sets in, you started to make schedules and begin those
resolutions you made, which I hope, after reading this blog, has encouraged you
to taking the first step in creating Your
Family Museum.
Perhaps
this is a good time to review what you have already read in how to go about
starting this truly wonderful endeavor. Start with postdate 8/11-12/2014: “Be
your own curator,
Part I & II.”
Start
making those lists: decide, sort, keep, display,
save and store. Answer the questions, and after you have asked yourself,
ask all the members of your family. When you done with this, read the next
post, 8/15/2014: How to Build and Where to locate Your Family Museum. And Enjoy!
